Disaster support through maps
At Denver API Hackday in November 2013, I built an application using MapQuest APIs and geolocation to help connect families affected by Colorado wildfires with volunteers. It received the MapQuest API award.
A clearer view of a neighborhood
At Denver’s first Civic Hackathon with Place Matters in August 2013, I built an application combining city data on neighborhoods, transportation, education, and living costs. The project received first place.
A lasting thread
Both projects reflect something that still interests me: bringing scattered information together so people can act on it.
