On February 27th 2026, my daughter Brooklyn was struck by a city bus and admitted to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh with serious injuries, including skull and facial fractures and internal trauma.

She is alive. And we are grateful beyond words.

The road ahead will include surgery, follow-up care, rehabilitation, travel between Altoona and Pittsburgh, and time away from work while we focus on her recovery.
